Anya Wiley

Anya Wiley is currently Director of the Spring Valley Unit as well as the Residential Camp for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Education from Western Michigan University and is currently completing her Masters degree in Socio-cultural Studies and Educational Thought at Western Michigan University as well. Anya previously taught fourth grade for Benton Harbor Area Schools and has nearly ten years of experience working with youth and families, including education and program development with a focus on addressing issues facing schools and communities in urbanized areas. Her areas of research and expertise are social justice as well as well as eco justice education. Additionally Anya is available to speak on issues regarding migration, globalization, and popular culture.
