Lesson #4: To debate the role “access” plays in the development of globally competent citizens.
*Teacher will lead a discussion on the role of access in the development of globally competent citizens.
*Teacher will present information on the role of access in the development of globally competent citizens in Dekar, Senegal focusing on students with disabilities.
*Teacher will ask students to create concepts maps that reflect the necessary skills to become a globally competent citizen with one country in a preassigned continent

*Students will participate in teacher lead discussion of assigned readings (1 hour)
*Students will listen and reflect on teacher presentation regarding topic in Dekar, Senegal (1 hour)
*Students will begin to create concepts maps that reflect the necessary skills to become a globally competent citizen within one country in a preassigned continent.  Concepts maps will be produced from literature reviews, interviews, artifacts, and mass media from the assigned country
